Bush Regen Training
Bush Regen Training Workshops
Natural Bushland Ecology has been developing a Bush Regen Training program over the last few years. This is an expansion of our internal training system and will be offered to landholders, volunteers, students and Field Practitioners.
Training modules have been developed through over 25 years of field observations and academic pursuits to provide a complete insight into the complexities of Bush Regeneration.
BushCare Officer
Natural Bushland Ecology was engaged, on a contractor basis, as a BushCare Officer for the Sunshine Coast Council in 2018 & 2019. During that time we managed 12 BushCare groups, comprised of community volunteers and USC undergraduate students undertaking Bush Regen in the local reserve system of the Sunshine Coast.
Work Placement
Undergraduate students from the University of the Sunshine Coast have had the opportunity to experience a six-month work placement & training module through Natural Bushland Ecology to gain a course credit for their Environmental Science degree. Students were given Bush Regen Training within a safe & secure setting while reinforcing their theoretical study and putting such concepts into practice.
USC Field Days
Natural Bushland Ecology has delivered several Field Days at the Tanawha Tall Gums Reserve for undergraduate University of the Sunshine Coast students to offer a 'real world' insight into the Environmental Industry. Topics covered were correlated within the current academic cirriculum students were studying at the time to reinforce such concepts within a practical application.
